The 2006 Malaysian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Sepang International Circuit in Selangor on 19 March 2006. The race was the second round of the 2006 Formula One season.

It was won by Renault driver Giancarlo Fisichella, who took his third and final victory in Formula One, and scored his first points of the season. His team-mate, Fernando Alonso, finished second to extend his lead in the drivers' championship standings to 7 points. Jenson Button took the first podium in Honda's three year return to the sport by finishing in third place.
